Knox Private Hospital

Knox Private Hospital is the largest private hospital in the eastern and south eastern corridor of Melbourne. We contribute to the operation of 310 patient beds, 11 theatres, a 24 hour Emergency Department, an on-site medical team, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit, a 10 bed Coronary Care Unit and a Day Procedure Unit. We contribute to the provision of a broad range of acute services, with over 25 speciality areas and Knox Private Hospital in collaboration with accredited private specialists is a leader in cardiac and general surgery, obstetrics, Acute and General Medicine, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, urology, plastics and vascular surgery. In 2010, Knox Private Hospital completed a large redevelopment including the addition of two new wards, an emergency department and a hybrid theatre with cath lab capabilities. Ringwood Private Hospital

Ringwood Private Hospital has been providing high quality care since opening in 1973.  We recognise the integral and important role we play as part of Melbourne’s outer-eastern community.  This is reflected in the excellent support programs we offer our patients and referring doctors. Our operating suites are equipped to perform major and minor procedures, in a diverse range of specialties.  The hospital has a purpose-built Day Surgery Unit, which is recognised by health professionals for its quality care. A 74 bed medical, surgical and oncology facility, Ringwood Private Hospital specialises in the specific treatment of patients with a cancer diagnosis, providing multiple treatment modalities on site, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Patients visiting Melbourne and requiring short-term treatments are also welcome.

Box Hill Hospital is a teaching hospital in Melbourne, Victoria. It is one of the seven hospitals that are governed within the Eastern Health network which provides health care services across the Eastern metropolitan area of Victoria.9 December 2009, the Victorian Labor government approved $407.5 million in funding for the redevelopment of the Box Hill Hospital and currently is on of there biggest hospitals across Victoria.
